MAGIC AI, a London-based startup, has raised $5 million in funding to support its innovative AI-powered fitness mirror, the MAGIC Mirror. This smart home fitness device aims to replace personal trainers by providing real-time personal training through holographic features and proprietary AI technology.
The MAGIC Mirror tracks users’ body positions, movements, and form using its inbuilt AI, ReflectAI™, and offers a wide range of exercise programs, including cardio, yoga, HIIT, and dance. The company has secured investments from prominent backers such as Baleen Capital, SFC Capital, Ventures Together, and senior executives from TikTok, Meta, Spotify, Citymapper, JustPark, and Stripe.
Magic AI plans to use the funds to scale operations, enhance product offerings, and expand into new markets, including a potential entry into the United States. The company’s co-founder and CEO, Varun Bhanot, was inspired by his own fitness journey and aims to make personal training more accessible and convenient.
