Learning Matters, a Fund III portfolio company of Pontaq, is the creator of personalised autonomous voice based teacher that is educating students as well as teachers. This start-up is leaving a strong footprint across the country with the help of “TARA”, their AI voice enabled ‘study buddy’ by tapping over 350 institutions across 35+ Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
Over 50,000 students, are on track to develop English language proficiency and over 8000 teachers are being equipped with the right teaching tools- all with the help of a single machine, TARA! With the current funding round closed, this firm has already delivered a 2.5x multiple of Pontaq’s capital invested.
Inclusion lies at the heart of TARA by catering to children with varying learning disabilities. Without the ’fear of reprimand’, children in every TARA enabled classroom are freely learning, reading & writing English. Educational institutions onboard comprise of both government & private schools where English language proficiency is not only encouraged but is being well-taught through the help of TARA.
